Scott Michael, head of commercial vehicles and business centre programme at Citroen, commented: “Thanks to a strong performance from all models in our range, Citroën’s LCV sales momentum has continued apace throughout 2013.

"The Berlingo has performed impressively, to take first place in the up to 2.5 tonne gvw sector, outselling strong competition from the VW Caddy, Ford Transit Connect, the new Vauxhall Combo and others in this hotly contested segment.

"Another of our strong performers is the Dispatch which, with sales up no less than 35%, has shown strong growth in a market sector that is becoming increasingly important.”
