MOTORENT has won the contract to supply almost half of mobile telecommunications company Cellnet's cars.

Cellnet will ultimately take delivery of 250 Mondeo Turbodiesel estates in a deal worth £3 million.

The new cars will be used by Cellnet engineers and succeed the Slough-based company's current fleet of Montego estates as they become due for replacement. Motorent has supplied vehicles to Cellnet for the last five years along with Hertz Leasing and BCC, but the new contract marks a five-fold expansion in the contract hire specialist's business.
