Fleet FAQ

Q:

How do I pay the Dartford Crossing toll?

A:

You must pay the charge if you use the Dartford Crossing between 6am and 10pm. Charges apply every day - including weekends and bank holidays.

You can pay the charge online, or:

  • pay with cash at your nearest Payzone store
  • set up an account by post
  • pay in advance or top-up your account by post
  • pay or set up an account by phone

How much you pay to cross depends on the type of vehicle you’re driving and if you already have an account.

Cars (including trailers), motorhomes and any minibuses that have 9 or less seats (including the driver’s seat) (Vehicle class B) pay a one-off payment of £2.50 or £2.00 if you have an account.

Buses, coaches, vans and other goods vehicles

Vehicles with 2 axles (Vehicle class C) pay a one-off payment of £3.00, or £2.63 if you have an account.

Vehicles with more than 2 axles (Vehicle class D) pay a one-off payment of £6.00, or £5.19 if you have an account.
