TrustFord has refurbished its Transit Centre in Barnsley, creating its largest commercial vehicle site.

The new dealership opened on March 16, following an investment of £500,000.

Stuart Mustoe, acting chairman & chief executive and finance director at TrustFord, said: “At TrustFord we’re always looking for ways to drive the standard in customer care which is why we’re investing in dealerships across our network. The redevelopment of the Transit Centre in Barnsley is an important milestone for us.

“The newly upgraded site will give us the scale and resources to meet our customers’ needs today and, importantly, into the future. I’m looking forward to seeing how these enhanced facilities help colleagues in Barnsley continue to deliver the excellent service that they are known for.”

The site has been extensively redeveloped and now offers a larger and enhanced showroom space, as well as exterior architectural features.

The Barnsley Transit Centre team recently achieved their Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) accreditation, recognising their expertise in the electric vehicle sector.

Later this year, Ford will introduce its first fully-electric commercial vehicle, the E-Transit.
