Maxus UK is expanding its dealer network with the addition of a new Staffordshire site operated by the Brindley Group.

Brindley’s first-ever commercial Maxus site will be located at Featherstone, joining the likes of Vauxhall, Nissan and Mitsubishi and giving local businesses access to an increased range of LCVs.

Maxus has recently launched three new platforms, beginning with its flagship LCV, the Maxus Deliver 9. This was followed by two electric LCVs: the eDeliver 9 and the eDeliver 3 – designed from the ground-up for electric power only, the latter is compact, lightweight and can carry up to 1,020kg payload.

Mark Barrett, general manager of Harris Maxus, said: “Despite its challenges, 2020 represented a new era for Maxus in which we can offer our customers even more variety in terms commercial vehicles, including zero emission LCVs.

“Brindley is one of the most respected commercial Dealer groups in the UK and a welcome addition to the Maxus Dealer network. In extending our network, we look for partners with a proven track record, not only in sales and customer service, but in aftersales too.

“Part of the Maxus promise is to always go the extra mile for our customers, so Dealerships are selected on the basis that they can provide a full three-sixty degree offering. Geographical location is also important as we continue to build nationwide coverage, and we believe Brindley is the perfect partner for the Maxus brand and for our customers.

“There will be a big focus on our latest new platform e LCVs, the e Deliver 3 and the e Deliver 9, and we are looking forward to seeing more Maxus vans on the road as Brindley joins us on our journey to making the greener motoring option the easier option.”

Che Watson, group managing director at The Brindley Group, added: "It's an exciting time for The Brindley Group. Not only are we joining forces with an innovative brand like Maxus, but we're doing so at a time when interest in electric-powered LCVs is growing month after month.

"After a difficult twelve months for businesses of all kinds, we're looking forward to expanding our LCV offering and helping companies find their feet once again. And by opening at a time when restrictions are relaxing, we'll be able to coincide with a country that's once again able to function like it did before the pandemic."
