Auto Windscreens’ vans in South West England will show their support for Cornwall Air Ambulance with a revamped livery.

Local technicians from the national windscreen repair company selected the cause to feature on 15 vans, which will operate within Cornwall and the wider region, helping promote the vital service the cause provides.

Cornwall Air Ambulance flies more than 750 lifesaving missions each year throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It relies on donations to operate and is currently fundraising to purchase a next generation ambulance helicopter in 2020 through its New Heli Appeal.

Shaun Atton, fleet manager at Auto Windscreens, said: “Cornwall Air Ambulance is a really worthy cause and our team feel passionately about supporting it.

“Thanks to a decision to introduce new branding across our commercial fleet, we are now able to showcase such local charities which is fantastic. Any drivers following one of the vans will be sure to spot the logo.”

Auto Windscreens has locations in Redruth, Exeter, Plymouth and Yeovil, supporting the business’ mobile technicians who repair and replace windscreens throughout South West England.

Stephanie Bray, corporate fundraising officer from Cornwall Air Ambulance, added: “We’re thrilled that Auto Windscreens has chosen to support the New Heli Appeal in this way.

“It’s brilliant that the cause was chosen by the drivers themselves and we’re very grateful for their enthusiasm for their local air ambulance. We look forward to seeing the vans out and about in the county.”
