Electric Citroen Relay and Peugeot Boxer make CV show debut

PSA Group unveiled two key electric models at the CV Show, the Citroen Relay and Peugeot Boxer.

Based on the respective vans’ existing platforms, the new electric versions are built by specialist converter BD Auto.

Two battery options are available: 44kWh and 62kWh. The larger battery provides an NEDC range of 169 miles, while the smaller battery offers a range of up to 141 miles.

The vans will both do a maximum speed of 55mph and can carry a payload of up to 1,215kg.

When the new models go on sale later in the year they will compete with the VW e-Crafter, Mercedes eSprinter and Renault Master ZE.

Prices are yet to be confirmed.

Electric versions of the Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot Expert and Vauxhall Vivaro will be available with an next year.
