Mercedes-Benz Vans UK has announced the opening of new offices at Number One Kirkstall Forge in Leeds, reflecting its evolution into a holistic provider of transportation and mobility solutions.

The offices, which have moved from Wentworth Park, near Sheffield, will be shared with Mercedes-Benz Finance as the two brands form a mobility partnership to keep customers’ businesses moving, with fleet management at the core, it says.

Number One Kirkstall Forge was named best UK ‘Commercial Workplace’ by the British Council of Offices, and secured the Property Wellbeing Award from Property Week.

The site benefits from good transport links, including a dedicated railway station accessing Leeds in just six minutes, cycle and car hire, cycling and running facilities, as well as electric vehicle charging, all in a woodland and waterfront setting. Number One Kirkstall Forge is also a sustainable new build, offering best-in-class digital connectivity.

The entire used vehicle processing operation is now delivered by BCA in Doncaster.

Steve Bridge, managing director of Mercedes-Benz Vans UK, said: “We see the automotive sector changing more in the next five years than it has in the last 50. To set us up for this, the move to Number One Kirkstall Forge marks the start of a new chapter for our business and how we best serve our customers.

“The significant investment made in this new facility is testament to the direction of the vans business, and commitment to our all-encompassing ‘Advance’ strategy for future success.

“By moving into smart new offices in Number One Kirkstall Forge, we have increased levels of flexibility, which we need to achieve our volume growth aspirations. It allows us to deliver improved and more cost-effective smart repair solutions, while BCA also enables us to have an independent return inspection – something that keeps us fair and transparent to our customers.”
