Europcar has opened its second location offering commercial vehicle rental in Scotland.

Responding to demand from Scottish businesses, the new site in Lancefield Quay caters for the needs of businesses using vans in the west of the country.

Europcar has offered commercial vehicle rental from its Edinburgh Supersite since 2014. Responding to the popularity of this station as well as a growing demand from businesses in the west of Scotland, the launch of a second specialist van centre shows Europcar’s commitment to the region, it says.

A range of short and long wheelbase vans are available from the new centre, alongside specialist vehicles, including Chapter 8 equipped vehicles, crew vans and 4x4 pick-ups.

Stuart Russell, director of commercial vehicles at Europcar Mobility Group in the UK, said: “The tailored service and knowledge available in our Edinburgh station has already made it incredibly popular.

“Identifying that businesses were coming from all over Scotland to access the specialist expertise and range of vans, it made sense to open a site with a focus on vans in Glasgow too.

“Supporting everything from daily rental to longer term usage, the Europcar Glasgow Van hub provides firms with a local station that can meet all their commercial vehicle needs.

“Not only do we offer a wide range of vehicles, ready to rent within four hours, but our commercial vehicle experts can help businesses identify the right vehicle for the job, every time.”
