RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV) has acquired the Northampton operation of Renault Trucks Commercials for an undisclosed sum, as part of RHCV’s strategic expansion.
All of the current team in Northampton (close to Junction 16 of the M1) are being retained and will be boosted with three additional new members of staff this year.
The acquisition takes RHCV’s group to four sites, joining its locations in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
Nigel Baxter, RHCV managing director, said: “We have been working with Renault Trucks to secure further expansion of our operation within the Renault Trucks network reinforcing our long and successful partnership, as such, this acquisition is a perfect fit for RHCV.
“Alongside a great existing team, this site offers excellent facilities and accessibility and further complements our existing strategically placed dealerships along the busy M1 corridor.”
Baxter said the acquisition means RHCV is now in a stronger position to grow its market share across the region.
