The new medium-sized panel vans from Peugeot, Citroen and Toyota have been awarded a five star rating.
Tested under the 'business and family van' category, for passenger carrying commercial vehicles, the new MPVs, currently badged the Peugeot Traveller, Citroen Spacetourer, and Toyota Proace will be on sale next year as fully commercial vehicles.
The vehicle scored 87% for Adult Occupant protection, 91% for Child Occupant protection, 64% for pedestrian protection, and 78% for Safety Assist features.
Only three other commercial vehicles in the last two years have achieved a five star rating - the Ford Transit/Tourneo Connect, Mercedes-Benz V-Class/Vito, and the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
