Toolbank adds three Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans to delivery fleet

3

Power and hand tool wholesaler and distributor Toolbank has added three Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313 CDIs to its 112-strong delivery fleet.

The company operates from headquarters in Dartford, Kent, and a network of depots nationwide.

Its new medium-length vans are based in Halesowen, West Midlands and will cover 50,000 miles a year.

Toolbank, which stocks more than 25,000 branded tools and other items of equipment, purchased its first Sprinter in 1996.

Toolbank also takes out Mercedes-Benz Service Care contracts under which all parts, lubricants and labour costs required in routine maintenance are covered by fixed monthly payments.

Fleet manager Richard Cope says: "The Service Care contracts are competitively priced, while the fact that our costs are predictable is also very helpful when it comes to managing the fleet."
