GAP Hire Solutions has announced it has been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s Scottish Business Awards. The total number of awards the company has been shortlisted for now stands at 16.

The company is also shortlisted for two Lloyd’s Bank National Business Awards and three Glasgow Business Awards.

GAP’s nominations in the PwC Commitment to Company Values and Family Business of the Year categories follow its win in the Growth Strategy of the Year category at last year’s Scottish Business Awards.

Douglas Anderson, joint managing director of GAP, said: ‘It has been a hugely successful year in terms of award nominations and I am delighted with the news that we have been shortlisted in two categories at the prestigious Scottish Business Awards which recognises the best in the business.

“We have worked hard as a family business to build something for the future and we are fortunate enough to be able to create our own culture.

“Our nominations verify that so far we have done the right thing in investing in our people and remaining true to the family values that we were built on.”
