Nissan launches five year van warranty

Nissan LCV range

Nissan has introduced an LCV warranty of five years or 100,000 miles for its range of petrol and diesel trucks and vans.

The warranty comes as standard on vehicles purchased from today (September 1) and covers components and chassis elements, including powertrain, battery and paintwork.

The NT400 Cabstar and NT500's bodywork is covered by a six year and unlimited mileage corrosion warranty, with this increasing to twelve years on the NV200, NV400 and Navara.

There is the option for customers to extend their warranty beyond the standard period, of either time or distance.

Ponz Pandikuthira, director of  LCVs at Nissan Europe, said: “Nissan has a long heritage in LCVs and we intend to grow our presence in this market across Europe.

“Meeting and exceeding the needs and preferences of our customers is a priority.

“This innovative five year manufacturer warranty was developed following in depth research among our LCV customers to understand what they valued most.

“Launching this market-leading LCV warranty is testament to Nissan’s confidence in the quality of our vehicles and the peace of mind we wish to offer our customers across Europe.”
