Hoover Candy has placed an order for 150 Vauxhall Vivaro vans, which will see it become a solely Vauxhall fleet by 2017.

The order follows the addition of 36 Vivaros to the Hoover Candy fleet last year.

Hoover Candy has ordered the L1H1 variant with the 1.6 120PS BiTurbo engine for all models. Rear parking sensors, bespoke internal racking and Hoover livery will all be fitted to each model ahead of delivery.

With nationwide operations, Hoover Candy’s service engineers will use the vans to carry out essential maintenance work and appliance services so vehicle reliability and running costs were key concerns when deciding to add the new Vivaros to the fleet.

Neil Parsons, fleet operations manager at Hoover Candy, said: “Since adding the initial 36 Vivaros to our fleet last year, we have been able to see how well they perform in real-world conditions for our operations.

“Not only have the vehicles really impressed us, but so have the high levels of service provided by the Vauxhall team.”
