Goodyear to launch ‘CO2 reducing’ truck tyres

Goodyear logo

Goodyear is launching a new fuel-efficient and CO2-reducing truck tyre range, and will showcase tyre management solutions at the 2018 IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hannover.

Goodyear’s new range will help manufacturers comply with increasingly challenging EU CO2 legislations, and reducing total cost of ownership for fleets on long haul routes.

Also highlighted will be the latest updates to Goodyear Proactive Solutions, a full suite of data-based solutions, featuring advanced telematics and patented predictive analytics technology, which enables fleets to further reduce operating costs and increase safety.

Goodyear Europe’s director of marketing commercial tyres Benjamin Willot said: "New regulations are forcing vehicle makers to be even more innovative in the development of new trucks. To this end, we are launching a new range of tyres developed using our latest technology to lower fuel consumption even further and thus reduce CO2 emissions. We will also update visitors with the latest news on Goodyear Proactive Solutions, which helps our customers optimise the performance of their tyres, further reduce CO2 emissions and save fuel, in addition to improving safety.

Goodyear will display its innovations in the New Mobility World area between Septemeber 20 and 27 at the IAA Commercial Vehicles in Pavilion P11 on stands C102-104.
