Cartwright Fleet Services buys Kerr and Smith

handshake between two executives

Cartwright Fleet Services (CFS) has announced it has bought Iveco Dealer Glasgow, Kerr and Smith.

The acquisition forms part of the strategic development of CFS into the vehicle leasing and contract hire market.

Now managing more than 12,000 assets with five owned workshops/dealers, 50 mobile technicians and a partner network of 125 service suppliers, CFS says the deal will help it continue to provide innovative fleet management and leasing solutions to its customer base.

Lawrence Todd, director of fleet services at CFS, said: "The Iveco brand complements the CFS service offering and now provides an opportunity to provide the full range of products from 3.5 to 44 tonne vehicles to all of our existing and new customers.

“We are delighted to secure the Iveco dealership and looking forwarded to working closely with Iveco, we are especially looking forward to working with the new team at CFS Glasgow and supporting the growth of the business."
