Champion Timber has been awarded bronze status in the Fleet Operation Recognition Scheme (FORS).

The company’s Head Office branch in New Malden successfully passed the first stage in the scheme after an assessment completed by a FORS auditor found that all the criteria for the bronze stage was met.

Martin Roberts, Transport Manager at Champion Timber, commented: “We are incredibly proud to have been awarded bronze status by FORS.

“We are looking forward to implementing our procedures across all our branches and to work our way up the FORS accreditation ladder.”

The bronze accreditation means that the New Malden branch now demonstrates best practice in safety and improved operations. Now that Head Office has this status, Champion Timber can use the same procedures to gain FORS endorsement company-wide.
