BMD Transport grows fleet with Renault Range T trucks

BMD Transport

Leicestershire-based BMD Transport has invested in its fleet, taking delivery of five new Renault Range T trucks.

The trucks were supplied by East Midlands Renault Truck distributor, RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV).

The new trucks will join BMD Transport's 22 existing Renault trucks, all supplied by RHCV.

Declan Chokar, director at BMD, said: “We have a targeted investment plan and the latest vehicles we are adding to the fleet will allow us to respond to growing demands within the business.

“Investing in the latest technologies means a more modern, more fuel efficient, and more reliable fleet.”

BMD Transport has invested to improve its fleet by fitting its Range T trucks with specialist equipment that allows them to better service clients by installing tipping backs, weighing recorders and fitting inclinometers, which monitors the angles of slopes for safety during construction.

Chokar added: “We have been working with RHCV since we had our first Renault from them back in 2011, and we continue to invest with them because of the level of service we receive.

“It’s a whole team effort, you don’t simply buy a truck from RHCV, the aftercare, repair and maintenance solutions, means our trucks are never off the road for long, something we can always rely on.”

Paul Pearson, commercial director at RHCV, said: “It’s fantastic to be continuing to supply trucks to BMD.

“We really value the excellent working relationship we have with them and it’s a testament to the customer service skills of the team at RHCV that we continue to get repeat custom from BMD and other East Midlands businesses.

“We are glad that our truck expertise has supplemented the success of their strategic investment plan.”
