Driver Hire Nationwide has announced it will be launching two new CPC modules: first aid and manual handling.

Both of the new modules offer dual certification, which means that as well as counting towards the statutory 35 hours of Driver CPC training, if an exam is taken, the modules qualify the driver for an emergency first aid at work certificate (valid for three years) or a manual handling certificate (valid for one year).

As well as adding new modules, Driver Hire Nationwide's training team has said it has also been reviewing and updating its range of Driver CPC courses, which include: fuel efficient driving, drivers’ hours, road transport working time regulations, digital tachograph and health & safety at work.

“All in all it’s proving to be a really exciting summer for Driver CPC training,” said Richard Armitage, director of Driver Hire Nationwide Training. “Offices around the network are also reporting strong demand.

"We’re attracting new business from national companies and, doubly pleasing, there are plenty of existing customers re-booking for the next round of training. A recent JAUPT audit gave Driver Hire Nationwide Training a massive thumbs up, confirming the quality and high standards of our Driver CPC training offer.”
