Sarah Palfreyman has been promoted to the role of UK sales director for Mercedes-Benz Vans.

She replaces Andrew Lawson, who left the manufacturer to join EO Charging. He held the position for two years.

Palfreyman began her career with Mercedes-Benz almost a decade ago as a district sales manager and since then, has held a number of senior leadership appointments, including head of network operations and head of sales.

Most recently, she has continued to demonstrate her commitment to the brand by pioneering a project team dedicated to modelling the future retail strategy.

In her new role as sales director, Palfreyman will lead the UK van sales division to help shape the future of electric mobility with digital solutions that provide best-in-class customer experiences for new and existing customers in retail, fleet, and direct distribution channels.

Palfreyman said: “I’m incredibly excited to continue my journey with Mercedes-Benz Vans in what will be a challenging but rewarding role. Our division is at a crucial stage in its history and well on its way to being at the forefront of electric and digital solutions.

“Having been involved in the evolution of our strategic sales direction and our Dealer network for many years now, I’m looking forward to using my knowledge to further shape and refine our sales offerings to keep businesses moving.”
