Ryder has appointed Karen Preston as head of marketing, responsible for all of its UK marketing activities.
Preston (pictured) brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications. Prior to joining Ryder, she was communications and marketing manager at Schaeffler UK.
In her new role, Preston will report to John Murray, UK sales and marketing director, and will be responsible for all marketing activities for the UK arm of Ryder.
Preston said: “My focus will be on supporting the sales and marketing effort to further build Ryder’s business with fleet operators and to promote the benefits of Ryder’s business proposition across its range of services.”
Ryder’s sales and marketing director John Murray said: “Karen’s significant experience over the past 20 years in business-to-business communications will support our twin objectives of retaining and building business with existing clients, while promoting the benefits of Ryder’s commercial vehicle transportation and maintenance solutions to new customers.”
