RH Commercial Vehicles manager wins IMI Award

Stephen Astill, aftermarket manager at Renault Trucks dealer RH Commercial Vehicles, has been awarded the IMI Outstanding Management Professional of the Year.

Astill, who is based at the firm’s Nottingham site, was shortlisted for the accolade after being nominated by training provider A.I.T. Training Developments with whom he had recently completed an advanced management qualification.

He said: “It’s fantastic to have had the recognition of Institute of the Motor Industry as a management professional. The award is not only a personal achievement; it is also a reflection on RHCV as an employer who goes the extra mile to train and upskill its workforce.”

Nigel Baxter, managing director at RHCV, said: “Stephen’s award highlights the great work he does here. We certainly value the level of skill and expertise we have within the business and we further complement this with a focused programme of training for our staff and apprentices.”
