Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has appointed Ricky McFarland to the role of country manager of Fiat Professional.

Reporting into deputy managing director Karl Howkins, McFarland takes over responsibility for sales and marketing activities across the Fiat Professional brand in the UK and Ireland, after predecessor Sebastiano Fedrigo moved to the car division of Fiat earlier this month.

McFarland moves to Fiat Professional having previously worked as FCA UK’s National Corporate & Leasing Sales Manager.

“I’m delighted to be moving to such an exciting brand within the FCA group,” he said.

“Fiat Professional has come a long way over the past few years and I’m relishing the opportunity to continue moving the brand in such a strong direction.”

“I welcome Ricky to this important role within FCA,” added Karl Howkins.

“His knowledge and wide experience gained from working within other significant areas of this business puts him in a very good position to take on the lead role in FIAT Professional, and I wish him great success.”
