LF&E has adopted Paragon’s transport planning software to enhance the standard of customer service and assist with the expansion of its business.

The software will be used to manage a fleet of 40 refrigerated vans that handle guaranteed and timed deliveries for customers within the pharmaceutical, medical, healthcare and food industries.

LF&E has been providing temperature-controlled delivery services for the past eight years on behalf of pharmaceutical and healthcare companies and the NHS.

Jason Buckley, managing director at LF&E Refrigerated Transport said: “The nature of our business is incredibly demanding and time-sensitive, so quality of service is key to everything we do.

“We need to deliver right first time, every time. It is therefore important that we use the best tools available to fulfil the requirements of our customers.”

The company is committed to using advanced technology, including remote temperature monitoring, vehicle tracking and mobile computing, to exceed recognised industry standards.

LF&E will use the Paragon system to enhance its planning capabilities to meet strict transport requirements in terms of on-time deliveries, customer communications and optimum performance.

William Salter, managing director of Paragon Software Systems, said: “LF&E delivers 1,000s of different products in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors alone.

“Many of these will have very strict delivery requirements which the LF&E team must not only meet but also have evidence that they have met.”
