Webfleet has launched a new telematics solution to help temperature-controlled fleets maintain cargo quality and safety.

Refrigerated cargo must be transported within a specific temperature range. Inconsistent temperatures can damage goods, such as medicines, foods and electronics.

Maintaining temperature consistency is also important for public safety, helping mitigate the risk of foodborne illnesses.

With Webfleet Cold Chain, fleet managers can easily monitor, control and record temperature conditions across their refrigerated assets in real time.

“We’re proud to help transport fleets protect goods, prevent costs and satisfy their customers,” said Taco van der Leij, vice president of Webfleet Europe.

“Webfleet Cold Chain provides temperature-controlled fleets with the tools and insights they need to thrive. Our solution makes meeting increased regulations and standards much easier—and all from a single platform.”

Webfleet’s cold chain solution can support any refrigerated fleet. It’s suitable for any semi-trailers, rigid-body trucks or delivery vans equipped with refrigeration devices and utilised to keep cargo at correct temperatures.

Webfleet Cold Chain will be available in both European and international markets where Webfleet provides services.
