Rivus has launched a new SMR package to suit smaller fleets, with between 15 and 125 vehicles.

The new Simple SMR service package is tailored specifically for businesses that may not have a dedicated fleet manager or fleet operation. It provides a one call solution for servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles at a fixed monthly price.

It was one of three new services unveiled at the CV Show, which also included a Vehicle Check app and EV consultancy to expand its existing fleet management offering.

Garry Crawford, Rivus’ business development executive for London and South East, said: “Our new Simple SMR package is cost effective, convenient and offers access to a breadth and depth of experience that many businesses may not have in house.

“It is designed to take the headaches away of managing a fleet and give businesses peace of mind, while keeping a fixed price for a contract period, helping small to medium-sized businesses counteract the impact of rising costs and inflation.”

Rivus’ Vehicle Check app is designed to simplify daily vehicle checks for drivers and fleet managers.  Using a mobile or tablet device, drivers will be able to complete daily vehicle checks, report accidents and raise defects. It also has a garage finder function to be able to locate the nearest available Rivus workshop.

The business, formerly BT Fleet Solutions, was acquired by Aurelius in 2019. It was since named Fleet Supplier of the Year at the Fleet News Awards.

The company has increased its fleet offering by integrating Pullman Fleet Solutions into the business. Pullman was one of the largest providers of commercial heavy goods vehicle (HGV ) maintenance and fleet management services in the UK for brands such as Tesco, Morrisons and Wilko and was bought by Rivus parent company Aurelius from Wincanton in November 2020.
