A-B 24/7 has chosen MAN TGE vans for its 24/7 logistics, adding 13 new vans to its fleet.

Its Wimbledon (SW19) depot will see its event transportation service grow with its new vans.

The company provides over 30 years of experience, supporting suppliers working within the ambulance, international sport, entertainment and fashion sectors.

Chris Godly, managing director at A-B 24/7, said: “Our journey to replace our fleet started at the Commercial Vehicle show in April 2018, an event where we could see all vehicle marques and meet the manufacturers under one roof.

“During the initial conversations with MAN it was instantly apparent that they both understood our needs and offered more than just a new vehicle sales function; their approach was very much about becoming a partner and developing greater understanding and trust, something of key importance within our business.

“Long wheelbase vans have always been the chosen workhorse for our Event Transport and Urgent Delivery services.

“Our vans support a wide range of event suppliers, event organisers and businesses with deliveries within London, the length and breadth of the UK, as well as further into Europe and in choosing MAN we feel that we have the right vans for the job.”

The new fleet will consist of all 3.5 tonne front wheel drive 3.140 TGE models, 10 long wheelbase high roof’s TGE’s, two extra-long wheelbase high roof’s TGE’s, and a JC Payne Luton bodies TGE chassis cab with tail lift.

The MAN TGE’s also come equipped with Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) as standard, as well as providing the company with MAN’s Mobile24 24-hour breakdown service, which in the event of a breakdown, guarantees 24/7 emergency roadside assistance 365 days of the year.
