VW Commercial Vehicles’ Portsmouth relocation enables rental scheme

Breeze Motor Group has relocated its Hilsea Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles van centre to Portsmouth, paving the way for a new rental scheme. 

The new purpose–built facility at Dunsbury Park, Portsmouth features 10 service ramps, an MOT facility and a 22-strong team.

Spanning over 1.4-acres, the site has the capability to sell Volkswagen’s Das WeltAuto approved used van and lifestyle range, which Breeze hopes will strengthen its presence across the South Coast.

Additionally, Breeze Motor Group is expanding its range of services to offer the approved Volkswagen Financial Services ‘Rent-a-Car’ scheme which will allow customers to rent commercial vehicles on a short or long-term lease.

Breeze Motor Group’s managing director Mark Langford (pictured) said: “This is a very exciting development for us. Portsmouth is vitally important to our business strategy as it extends our commercial vehicle offering from Dorchester to Chichester.

"Customers will be able to experience the same great service they’ve always received from Breeze Motor Group right across the South Coast from Poole to Portsmouth.

“We have operated our service centre in Portsmouth for five years, to great success, but business demand has required us to revamp our offering.”

The new centre features 10 workshop ramps, including a VOSA-accredited MOT testing area for class four and seven commercial vehicles, a forecourt display for more than 60 Volkswagen DasWelt Auto used vehicles, and access to over 150 in Group stock

Breeze Van Centre Portsmouth will offer a full range of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles services on site including, servicing, MOT, Express Fit and Roadside Assistance. It brings the number of dedicated Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Authorised Repairers to 26.

The brand also operates a further 71 full Van Centres which provide both sales and service facilities.
