Mediafleet has extended its partnership with Europcar (part of Europcar Mobility Group), by winning a contract to fit vehicle graphics to a new fleet of buses serving Heathrow Airport.

The project involving 16 Europcar-branded Merccedes-Benz Sprinter minibuses and Optare coaches will benefit from Contra Vision vehicle wrapping – enabling passengers to see out of windows but not passers-by to see into the vehicles.

Europcar Mobility Group in the UK’s sales and marketing director Jose Blanco said: “Since 2013 Mediafleet has successfully supported Europcar with the branding we require when we need it, whether for vehicles or in adhoc cases.

“The Heathrow Airport bus fleet is a totally new project for Mediafleet in terms of both introducing Europcar’s new branding to vehicles and the size of those vehicles.

"However, Mediafleet continues to meet our demanding schedule and has a faultless track record.”

The fleet will form its complementary transfer service for customers to get from the company’s vehicle rental reception desk at Heathrow Airport, Europe’s busiest passenger airport, and the complex’s five terminals.

The new bus fleet livery is part of a major Europcar project that sees new branding being rolled out at a number of rental locations.

Mediafleet’s managing director Barnaby Smith said: “The Heathrow bus contract win further demonstrates Mediafleet’s core proposition offering a creative brand agency-style approach to vehicle graphic design that provides our customers with a total one-stop shop also incorporating artwork production and fitment.

“Europcar is one of Mediafleet’s most prestigious clients and the new contract extends our reach to a different fleet as the company has learned more about our capability in terms of creative media branding.”
