WEX Europe Services, owner and provider of the Esso Card, has reported that attending Fleet Management Live 2017 “generated plenty of leads”.

WEX Europe hailed Fleet Management Live 2017 as a success following breakthrough conversations with many new prospective clients and firming up relationships with existing customers.

Recently-appointed group sales director, David Holdcroft, led a team of fuel card experts at the NEC, in Birmingham, during the two-day exhibition, which attracted more than 1,800 visitors from SME businesses in fleet, transport, finance, procurement and HR sectors.

WEX Europe Services was one of 120 exhibitors, and visitors were impressed with the company’s offering of fuel cards, telematics program and other fleet-related services:

Holdcroft said: “The show was a success, with plenty of leads generated.

“We had the opportunity to meet many fleet managers and converse with lease and vehicle rental companies, so it was an encouraging event for us.”

Throughout 2017, WEX Europe Services has been aggressively promoting its brand and portfolio throughout Europe, by exhibiting at various trade shows held in the UK, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.

It has been crucial period for the brand, as it aims to forge stronger connections with its customer network and impress new clients with new products and initiatives.

One of those is Eco Miles, WEX Europe Services’ recently-unveiled carbon balancing scheme.

To allow customers to balance their carbon emissions, Eco Miles offers a way to help them fund the planting of new international woodlands, thus, giving them the opportunity to achieve environmental sustainability.

WEX Europe’s commercial and marketing director Pete Dore said: “Trade shows in Europe are the perfect platform for us to create awareness of the WEX Europe Services brand, as well as introduce ourselves as the owner of the Esso Card.”
