Logistics company Wincanton has confirmed that Vince McGurk has been appointed as the managing director of Pullman Fleet Services, an independent provider of commercial vehicle maintenance and fleet management.

Wincanton said McGurk has been instrumental in returning Pullman Fleet Services to profit over the past 18 months and will continue to drive further improvements to both operational and financial performance.

He will report directly to Chris Fenton, managing director of industrial and transport.

Prior to his role at Wincanton, McGurk has held senior general management and supply chain positions at Jewson, ATS Euromaster as well as nine years at CHEP.

He said: “I am excited to continue the transformation of Pullman Fleet Services. There are good long-term prospects for growth and opportunities to engage with existing and new customers in the maintenance and management of their fleets including all makes and models..”

Pullman Fleet Services is a business unit which forms part of the Wincanton Industrial and Transport sector.

It provides non-marque specific commercial vehicle repair, maintenance and roadside assistance across the UK through 30 owned service centres, 340 trained technicians and 25 apprentices.
