Addison Lee’s courier fleet making more than 20,000 deliveries each week

Addison Lee’s courier service is going from strength to strength, with the latest data showing 98% of its same-day jobs are delivered within one hour of the booking.

The business has doubled in the past two years as customers’ increasingly demand delivery in under one hour and it is now making more than 20,000 deliveries each week.

Catharine Faiers, chief operating officer at Addison Lee, said: “People recognise Addison Lee for the quality of the service and reliability. The ‘now generation’ has accelerated the online shopping market and we’re meeting this burgeoning demand head on.”

Since 1978, Addison Lee’s courier service has delivered 25 million packages from over 17,000 clients. Among its network, Addison Lee operates 4,000 cars, 250 vans, 100 motorbikes and 30 bicycles in and around London.
