GAP Vehicle Hire continues expansion

GAP Vehicle Hire - Manchester

GAP Vehicle Hire have announced expansion plans in the North West of England, investing more than £1 million into a four acre site in Clifton, Manchester. The new depot will officially open its doors in August 2016.

With a classification of a ‘Mega-Site’, the large complex will have the capacity to operate around 3000 vehicles, and aims to offer customers a complete fleet solution in terms of ‘flexible’ vehicle hire.

Jim Forrester, operations director for GAP Vehicle Hire, said: “We have seen huge growth from our Mega-site in Glasgow and are delighted to announce our plans to further enhance our growth strategy.

“We will be replicating our ‘one stop’ solution services, meaning we can supply vehicles for our customers exactly to their specification and fit items on-site such as tow bars, beacons, internal racking and more.”

The new site will feature a brand new Hiredesk reception, vehicle up-fitting centre, as well as a large forecourt which is already earmarked for a vehicle sales compound.
