Licence monitoring company Licencecheck has joined the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Suppliers and Supporters initiative as an associate organisation.

The partnership sees the company offer a number of benefits to FORS subscribers to aid the efficient and safe running of their fleets.

FORS subscribers will profit from discounted access to Licencecheck's driver and vehicle information solution software.

This management software includes tachograph and telematics support solutions, as well as grey fleet support.

In addition, Licencecheck provides members with the facility to download real-time licence validity and entitlement checks from the DVLA, as well as offering users detailed management and reporting tools for multiple driver types. The service also supports additional CPC and MiDAS data.

Richard Brown, managing director of Licencecheck, said: “The opportunity to work with an industry-leading scheme such as FORS shows a great message for Licencecheck and its services.

"The partnership represents a chance for FORS subscribers to manage their ever-changing fleets with the very best infrastructures available.

"As the FORS initiative expands to include light delivery vehicles, it’s important to have sufficient flexibility to accommodate different types of vehicles and drivers.”

FORS is an accreditation scheme encompassing safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations, helping fleet operators measure and monitor performance while encouraging best practice.
