BNP Paribas Rental Solutions has announced a partnership with HMF Cranes which will see it supply finance packages for a new timber and builders merchant’s vehicle.

The vehicle features a HMF 1430LK1 crane with an EVS system to ensure safety and stability while lifting loads.

The chassis will be the new model DAF FAN 310 6 x 2 rear steer with its PX 7 engine, saving around 500kg compared to the more traditional MX11, 11-litre engine.

Massey Truck Engineering will produce a body using a Domex subframe with 6mm longitudinal high tensile Swedish steel.

The company said these elements combined will give the optimum rigidity when using the crane while providing the best possible payload for the operators.

The body can be produced in a number of different configurations to suit individual companies’ operational needs.

Ian Roberts, managing director of HMF Cranes, said: “We’re extremely proud of our new crane, and we couldn’t have chosen better finance partners than BNP Paribas Rental Solutions.

"Our HMF 1430LK1 loader crane prioritises vehicle performance and this is further supported when partnered with the new PX7 engined DAF CF chassis, efficiency, and user safety.

"At HMF, we truly believe it will bring best-in-class loading and unloading capability to the timber and builders merchant industry – and BNP Paribas Rental Solutions’ package makes it available to the widest possible range of organisations.”

BNP Paribas’ contract hire package includes the crane and truck alongside a host of other benefits.

These include account management, certification, routine maintenance and testing, as well as vehicle configuration.
