Commercial vehicle provider Dawsonrentals Vans has added the 5,000th vehicle to its fleet offering.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter joins the business as it anticipates yearly results to significantly exceed 2014 figures following a year of growth.

The new acquisition is part of a £20 million investment in the brand’s vehicles earlier this year.

The total fleet now includes 300 Citans, 500 Sprinter Panel Vans and 450 Sprinter chassis cabs from Mercedes-Benz, and these are based at its depots in Milton Keynes, Doncaster, Ipswich, Reading, Cardiff, Newcastle and Skelmersdale.

“The addition of quality new assets to our extended network of depots has been perhaps the most significant step for us, with new vehicles, technologies and staff helping solidify our position.
