AlcoDigital, suppliers of police-approved drug and alcohol testing equipment, has become an associate of FORS, offering members of the scheme a discount on all their services and products.

Section D6 of the FORS bronze standard supports the recent change in law and states that fleet operators should ensure all drivers are not impaired through drink or drugs.

Suzannah Robin, AlcoDigital sales and training director said: “The FORS is a superb tool that ensures organisations around the UK comply with regulations set by Transport for London (TFL). For many, being a part of the FORS accreditation scheme is essential, especially for those who operate LGV’s in London, as without it they would not be able to deliver to certain sites in the city.

“Our association with FORS is great for employers of such organisations as it means they can access our training, services and products at discounted rates as well as speak to our experts in the drug and drink-driving industry who can offer advice on the best way to monitor their drivers’ fitness and health.

“We are proud to be a part of this scheme that aims to improve road safety for all and look forward to working with the many member organisations, ensuring drugs and alcohol are kept off our roads.”
