Lawncare specialist GreenThumb has signed a deal to take delivery of 120 new Mercedes-Benz Vitos in 2015.
The Long-bodied Vito 111 CDI on display at the company's annual conference wore the company’s eye-catching new vinyl wrap livery and, especially for the occasion, a humorous set of door mirror covers.
GreenThumb was founded in 1986 by CEO Stephen Waring. Its franchisees run a combined fleet of more than 750 vans.
the 111 CDI model as specified by GreenThumb is powered by a 114 hp 1.6-litre engine which drives the front wheels.
Mercedes-Benz expects to supply in the region of 120 vans this year, with the remainder of the fleet being replaced before the end of 2017 – GreenThumb stipulates that the vehicles which bear its name must be no more than three years old.
