Mercedes-Benz Van dealer Rygor has appointed Richard Brain as business development manager, serving fleet operators in Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire.
Richard Brain is now working with customers running fleets of between 25 and 250 vans, offering an enhanced and personalised level of customer service, by acting as a single point of contact between Britain’s largest Mercedes-Benz Dealer and its customers.
“It is an exciting time here at Rygor and I am delighted to have been able to join the team to provide van operators in the local area with advice and guidance on ways to manage their fleets as efficiently as possible, and drive their business forward,” said Brain.
“My role entails looking after all their vehicle needs – customers can come to me with any question and I’ll work with all the departments here at Rygor to save them time through a single point of contact. It is essential that we truly get to know our customers’ businesses and really understand their specific requirements to make running their fleets efficient. I can then use my experience and knowledge of our wide range of products and services to suggest ways of keeping their fleets moving and make sure downtime is reduced to the absolute minimum – keeping them on the road.
“Communication is vitally important,” he continued. “It is imperative that our customers are kept fully informed when they have a vehicle in our workshop, a parts delivery on the way, or a batch of new vans on order. We are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to help their businesses run smoothly. I’ll make sure they have all the information they need, when they need it, so they’re always up to date.
“I am also enjoying getting out on the road and visiting prospective customers, to tell them about the service I offer and outline all the benefits it can bring to their operations. It is always good to have the opportunity to meet face to face with our customers, both new and existing, and build relationships based on trust, understanding and expertise.”
