Dawsonrentals Vans expands its sales team

Dawsonrentals Vans has appointed Chris Beeton as head of sales.

Beeton has joined  from Ainscough Crane Hire, the UK’s largest crane hire company, where he was responsible for the company’s group sales. Prior to this, he headed up sales for Northgate Vehicle Hire for 15 years, during which time he held a series of commercial positions.

Beeton will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, which has over 4,000 assets, to support business-to-business with a range of car and light commercial vehicle rental solutions that can range from one day to three years.

The Milton Keynes-based business will also be opening two new sites this month in Reading and Ipswich to reinforce the company’s ambitious growth plans. The two new van rental centres will expand upon the  network, which currently houses five locations throughout the UK.

Gareth Jones, managing director said: “Chris has an excellent track record of driving sales growth, both new and organic, for some of the UK’s largest businesses.

“We are pleased to have someone of Chris’s calibre on board and use his extensive vehicle rental experience, which will serve as an enabler within the market space.”

Beeton added: “It’s an exciting time to be joining the team at Dawsonrentals Vans, as the company is significantly investing in its business, infrastructure and assets.

“I look forward to working with the rest of the team to grow the prospective sales opportunities and work with our existing customers.”
