Northgate donates van to charity campaign

Northgate Vehicle Hire’s Exeter branch has helped to raise awareness of 1.5 million neglected children in the UK by donating a free of charge van.

The vehicle rental specialist teamed up with Kids Company and The UK Hand Knitting Association last month to support the charity’s Heartsease campaign.

The Kids Company team encourage the nation to knit small heart-shaped bags last month – to represent all of the children in the UK who are in need of help and support.

Northgate’s free of charge vehicle is being used to transport thousands of these heart shaped bags, which contain messages and presents, across the UK to underprivileged children aged three to eight years old and currently receiving support from the charity.
