SHB take over Hendy Hire’s contract and flexi hire business

Following an in-depth review of their business the Hendy Group has decided that they will be withdrawing from the hire market to focus on their dealerships.

The group has struck a deal with SHB, who will now take over the contract and flexi hire activity of Hendy Hire.

This will see the transfer of a fleet of around 600 vehicles, which mainly consists of LCVs with some cars and HGVs, and the appropriate Hendy Hire customer base to SHB nationwide.

This new acquisition will increase the SHB fleet from 10,500 to over 11,100 vehicles and will be managed via the Head Office at Romsey and their 14 UK branches.
