Citroën’s 2013 LCV registrations rose by 25.8% to 22,989 units, representing an 8.48% share of the <3.5 tonne gvw sector.

Figures released earlier this week by the Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders (SMMT) show that Citroën LCV registrations in 2013 were virtually double the year-on-year market increase of 13.12%.

Scott Michael, Citroën’s Head of Commercial Vehicles & Business Centre Programme, said:
“The award-winning Citroën LCV range enjoyed an outstanding year in 2013. The Berlingo and Dispatch ranges performed particularly strongly, with both recording 30+% increases. More LCV operators are now recognising the proven financial and operational benefits of the Citroën LCV range.

"The company’s LCV sales success also benefited from its expanded Business Centre network, which is providing exceptional sales growth with Small and Medium Enterprise companies. This combined with uplifts in our sales to large corporate users and the contract hire and leasing industry has resulted in our best sales volume since 2007.”
