Northgate Vehicle Hire’s Wakefield depot helps charity runners

Northgate Vehicle Hire’s Wakefield depot has donated a support van to Wakefield Hospice to transport 1,400 bottles of water to the start and finish lines of a 10k charity race, organised to help raise funds for the hospice’s work within the local community.

The van was donated for a week to help the charity prepare for the event, which took place last weekend.

As part of the charity donation Northgate arranged for its sign-writing supplier, Advantage Signs, to provide full vehicle livery in a bid to generate brand awareness of the Wakefield Hospice within the surrounding area.

Northgate has also placed a donation box at the front of its depot to help boost funds raised.

Danielle Cain, fund raising coordinator at Wakefield Hospice, said: “We value the support Northgate has offered, as a charity we rely on the kind donations and help of the local community, without which, we would not be in a position to keep providing vital care to people in Wakefield.”
