APC Overnight has appointed Nick Cusworth, managing director of Courier Logistics, to its board of directors.

Cusworth is one of four founder shareholders of Courier Logistics in Rotherham, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year.

During that time he has overseen the company’s transformation from a standalone same day delivery business, to a member of the nationwide APC Overnight network, employing 125 staff across two delivery depots in Rotherham and Bradford.

Chief executive of APC Overnight, Karl Brown, said: "Nick has been voted onto the APC Overnight board in order to help guide the strategic direction of the business. Courier Logistics has been an integral member of the APC Overnight network for a number of years now. We’re looking forward to benefitting from Nick’s experience and welcome him onto the board."

Cusworth said: "I’m honoured to have been nominated to the board of directors and I’m looking forward to working with the other members to help drive the APC Overnight network forward in what promises to be a really exciting time for the business."
