FTA Transport Manager heads to Belfast

The Freight Transport Association's (FTA) Transport Manager Conference is heading to Northern Ireland next spring.

Scheduled to take place in Belfast on March 27, the conference offers a wide variety of speakers and subjects, and promises to target the key issues facing transport managers in the year ahead.

The popular FTA event offers delegates invaluable information and advice for their everyday operations, as they hear first-hand from industry experts, are able to measure their operation against others, and leave in the knowledge that their business is completely up-to-date with the latest industry developments.

FTA policy experts also attend the conference and are on hand to give essential updates, and provide transport managers of operations of all sizes essential guidance and best practice advice surrounding future legislation and enforcement changes.

Key sessions at Transport Manager Northern Ireland 2014 include:

• DVA enforcement procedures
• Traffic Regulator's address
• Securing loads
• HGV UK Road User Levy
• Cyclists safety
• Maximising fuel efficiency

FTA is offering a special ‘Early Bird' price for FTA members who book before 31 January 2014, of just £235 plus VAT per delegate.

The price for FTA members booking after that date is £265 plus VAT for the first delegate and £225 plus VAT for subsequent delegates; the cost for non-members is £330 plus VAT for the first delegate and £290 plus VAT for subsequent delegates.

To book a place, call the FTA Member Service Centre on 08717 11 22 22.
