Ferraris Piston Services (FPS) has ordered 122 Citroën Berlingo HDi 75 manual L1 625 LX vans. Delivery of these new Berlingos started at the beginning of 2012 and the vans will be used to distribute automotive parts to some 2,500 motor factor customers from 20 FPS depots spread across the UK.
Stuart Collett, fleet manager at FPS, says his vans make up to six deliveries each day and cover around 50,000 miles per year. He replaces about half of the 300-strong FPS fleet every year.
Following last year’s FPS order for 163 Citroën Berlingo LX vans, Mr Collett has again specified this model for 2012.
FPS operates the new Berlingos on Inchcape, two year/100,000 mile contract hire agreements.
