Greenhous Volkswagen Van Centre has worked closely with Xcess A Bus to supply the latest order of vehicles making sure they are fitted to the highest specification for safety, comfort and reliability. Accommodating a combination of seated and wheelchair passengers, all of the Xcess A Buses are COIF-tested (where applicable) and are fitted to a high specification, including wheelchair access using tail lifts, cant rail anchorage, reverse camera’s and climate control.

Simon Cassidy, sales director of Xcess A Bus, said: “We specialise in the provision of wheelchair accessible vehicles and work closely with the care and welfare sector, local authorities and private companies throughout the UK. This gives us great insight into the demanding but essential needs of these organisations.”

“We’ve come along way since starting with 15 vehicles when Xcess A Bus was formed five years ago under the Burnt Tree Group umbrella. Today we have in excess of 150 accessible vehicles on our fleet – all fully accessible with the aid of tail lifts.

“The relationship between Greenhous and the Burnt Tree Group goes back a long way and we are delighted that they have been able to fulfil our latest order of 50 Volkswagen vans. Greenhous is a trusted name in the area with exceptional customer service and we are delighted to put our business through them.”

Ray Coates, general manager for Greenhouse Volkswagen Van Centre added; “Over the years, the Greenhous Group has supplied the Burnt Tree Group with VW’s, DAF’s and Vauxhall’s and they are an extremely valued customer. We are pleased to be working with Xcess A Bus and look forward to a further 25 years of working with the business.”
