Berlingo vans produced from October 2010 and powered by the 1.6HDi 75hp engine will have CO₂ emissions of 147g/km (reduced from 153g/km), while the 1.6HDi 90hp engine’s CO₂ emissions are reduced to 149g/km (down from153g/km).  At the same time these fuel efficient 1.6HDi 75hp and 90hp diesel engines used in Berlingo vans will provide even better fuel economy figures.

Robert Handyside, commercial vehicle operations manager, comments: “Citroën continues to refine its Euro 4 engines to ensure its LCV customers benefit from fuel efficiency gains and emissions reductions.  These latest changes, which are being introduced without any cost penalty, will ensure that the Berlingo maintains its position as one of the UK’s best-selling small vans.”
